Both nail challenges I’m doing coincided today - it’s day 3 of love & heartbreak week with the Digit-al Dozen and also day 5 of the geometric challenge, for which the theme is “straight”. I did these to fit into both challenges because I am WAY too lazy for two posts in a day haha. Check out the full post for more pictures & how I did them!
I started a geometric nail art challenge today with a bunch of other lovely bloggers and I’m super pumped about it! The first day’s theme is square and I did these. I love the way they turned out! Check out the full post to see my inspiration picture and read more about how I did these.
Zoya Blaze and Shimmer Polish Irene with striping tape and loose glitter! I wasn’t sure about these at first but then decided that I liked how regal they made me feel haha. Also I LOVE GLITTER. Check out the full post for more pictures and info!
Last night I began my nail-painting journey with the intention of leaving all my nails a solid color but then this happened anyway. It’s a slightly simpler variation of this mani but I kinda like them better I think? I do know that I effing love these two colors together (butter LONDON Two Fingered Salute and Zoya Tru) and you all need them. These were inspired by the flowers at the bottom of Gustav Klimt’s painting The Kiss. They were super fun to do and I love how they turned out. I had a hard time choosing which part of the painting to replicate on my nails last night - it’s so full of pretty patterns I may have to do a whole series on it sometime soon! Check out the full post for more pictures and info.
I actually followed through on what I said I wanted to do yesterday and did another art deco inspired set of nails using striping tape last night! These took WAY LONGER than I thought they would but I really love the way they turned out. Striping tape has spoiled me forever, I just always want my lines to look this clean and crisp. Hands, y u no paint like this??

Art deco inspired nails! The nail art group I belong to (The Digit-al Dozen) does a week’s worth of nails on a specific theme each month and this month’s theme is ART. These weren’t inspired by any specific art deco piece but just the general feeling of the movement. I’m gonna do art deco again tomorrow because I like to walk on the wild side that way and also I want to try a more stylized design using striping tape so I don’t weep over each imperfection in my line work. More words and pictures in the full post!
