These nails are very pink and very glittery so if you are allergic to either of those things I’d recommend looking away. If you aren’t, you should read more! Only if you want to, of course.

You GUYS. This is from my second-ever indie polish haul, an order I placed when Pretty & Polished opened shop a couple weeks ago. I got 4 polishes and this one, Party On My Yacht, is the first one I couldn’t wait to try. I love it so much. I did 1 coat of white and 2 coats of POMY, I think it probably would have been opaque on its own in 3 coats but I wanted to conserve it because I have the mini bottle :) I love how the glitter from the first coat turns all milky and dreamy and the second-coat glitter is shiny and colorful. I am a total sucker right now for glitter in a white or pastel base that does this layered-looking thing. LOVE.
Side note, I’m sorry for YET ANOTHER semi-disappearance… We’ve been moving to a new house/unpacking for the last week and I have been so busy with that and thus too tired to do my nails at night :( Also, I broke a nail while moving over the weekend and I told myself that the next time I broke a nail I’d try out square nails and they were weird at first but I think I’m in love with them. I love my round nails but I always feel like I can never quite get the shape right and they always look kind of messy to me. These square nails look so tidy and clean. I’ve always had squoval before I went to round so it’s a change for me but I think I’m hooked!

Hey! Hey guys! I have been painting my nails, I’ve just been really bad about posting for the last few days for some reason. ANYWAY, a few weeks ago I ordered my VERY FIRST indie polishes from All That Glitters and last week they arrived! I got 3 and this is the first one I wore. It’s called The Gold Rush and it’s filled with tiny gold glitter, black bar glitter, medium black hexes and big HOLOGRAPHIC hexes. I’m pretty much in love with it. It’s thick but super manageable and the glitter payoff is awesome, this is only one coat! The only thing I found difficult about it is that the base is smoky instead of clear, so I had to be careful to get total nail coverage because the base tinted my polish and looked streaky if I didn’t cover carefully. I like how the color of the base darkened my polish colors, though. All in all I am SUPER happy with my first indie polish experience!
