Happy Friday everybunny! I have my last set of art-inspired nails to show y’all today, this time based off of this painting by LA-based artist and muralist Push. All done freehand! I am pretty proud of these and glad I get to wear them for more than a day haha. Check out the full post for more info on how I did them as well as a pic of my right hand (it matches!!)

These were inspired by the flowers at the bottom of Gustav Klimt’s painting The Kiss. They were super fun to do and I love how they turned out. I had a hard time choosing which part of the painting to replicate on my nails last night - it’s so full of pretty patterns I may have to do a whole series on it sometime soon! I’ve been feeling kind of uninspired lately for nail art because all I really want to do are Christmas and wintery nails, but the weather here in Georgia has been in the 70s for the last few days, which makes it REALLY HARD for me to get in the holiday spirit. Like, come on, how am I supposed to paint snowflakes on my nails when I don’t even have to wear a coat. Or pants. So last night I decided just to wait a bit for the holiday nails and do something I always love, multicolor geometric patterns on a nude base! Read more and see more pix at the ol’ blog!
Hey lovers! I got some purple ombre nails from the vault to show you. Look how long and round my nails were! This makes me kinda miss them… I have lots of unposted pictures from when my nails were this length/shape though so you’ll be seeing more of them in the future. Hahahaha you guys I laugh every time I look at these nails. I love them so much, they are so funny to me. Even my boyfriend laughed when I showed him. Weather puke! Read more at my blog where there are a lot more pictures because I’ve never done both hands differently so I had a hard time narrowing my pictures down! What do you guys think of these? Do they make you giggle like a little school child too?
you guys do you ever do this thing where you look at a polish a bunch of times over a period of time and each time (why is my vocabulary suddenly limited to only the word “time”) you decide to wait until later to buy it and then the day you decide you’re gonna get it you realize that it’s LE and it’s sold out everywhere and you can’t even find it online anywhere except ebay for like twice the price so you go to three different stores and despair at each one when you discover that the polish you want is sold out FOREVER and finally at the fourth store you find it in stock and it’s like a religious experience and you gleefully take your prize to the register and prance back to your car victoriously? has anyone else ever done this? please make me feel less alone. not that i did this. i’m just saying. if i did.
