Dressed Up Nails

Hi! I’ve never used nail art pens for any of my designs :) I only own one, this kinda crappy silver SH nail art pen that I only used once way back before I was blogging about my nails. I just use little brushes and dotting tools. I got my brushes on Amazon for $10 and I love them, and I got my dotting tools there too (for $3 with free shipping!). If you don’t want to shop online you can pick up a little brush at a craft store and cut off some bristles to make it smaller. As far as dotting tool alternatives, when my sister was first starting doing nail art she pushed a straight pin into a pencil eraser and used the head of the pin for dots. You can also use a bobby pin or toothpick or anything else that seems like it would make dots. Hope this helps!
